RED RUN INTER-COUNTY DRAIN VEGETATION REMOVAL PROJECT MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN Sealed proposals will be received by the DRAINAGE BOARD FOR THE RED RUN INTER-COUNTY DRAIN, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 for the construction of certain drains and structures, including the following approximate quantities: Vegetation Removal- Lump Sum Proposals will be received up to 10:00 a.m., local time; on the date set forth herein at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. PROPOSAL TO BE RECEIVED: May 14, 2009 Bidders shall review and comply with the Information for Bidders, which are incorporated by reference, and carefully review all Contract Documents, as defined in the Information for Bidders. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered. Starting on April 20, 2009, the Drawings and Specifications under which the work will be done will be on file and may be examined at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner at Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan and Dodge Reports. Copies thereof may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), (Check only) for each set of Contract Documents and set of plans from the Office of Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the Oakland County Parks Red Oaks Youth Soccer Complex Building, located at 29601 John R Road, between 12 and 13 Mile Roads, City of Madison Heights, Michigan, after which time a visit of the Red Run Drain site will occur for those in attendance. All prospective Bidders are required to attend this meeting. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required for each proposal. The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal and to waive irregularities in the proposals.
