Summary of Specifications:
If requested, the Contractor will conduct interviews on persons who cannot be given polygraph examinations.
All Civil Rights of all examinees will be upheld as required by law, with all the proper forms describing these rights signed by the examinee.
Review all case facts and materials prior to the test, with interviews of the attorneys, prosecutors, and investigating officers when necessary.
The examinee will be given a pre-test interview to make sure they are both psychologically and physiologically prepared to submit to the polygraph examination.
At the conclusion of the examination, the polygraph results will be interpreted and reports will be furnished indicating the opinion of the examiner. If the examiner’s opinion is that the examinee is deceptive, then every effort to determine the truth will be made, ensuring civil rights and legal procedures are followed.
Whenever convenient, the polygraph examination will be conducted at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, thereby eliminating the need of an officer to appear with the examinee at the business office. If the examinee is incarcerated at the Oakland County jail, it would be necessary to provide a guard when the facility is utilized.
