000749 - On-Site Oral Translation/Interpretation Services

Summary of Specifications:
Oakland County Purchasing Division is requesting SEALED proposals on behalf of the Oakland County Health Division for on-site oral translation services. 

The Oakland County Health Division is interested in maintaining a diverse panel of interpreters/translators to meet the needs of populations served by the Department’s programs and for whom the primary language is not English. Services requested include on-site oral translation only on a 24 hour, 7 day basis. 

The contractor will be expected to accept requests for services by telephone or fax and be able to schedule service within 24 hours – Emergency service within 6 hours. 

The contractor will provide interpreters who have cleared security checks by Michigan State Police or other law enforcement agency. 

The contractor will provide interpreters who have signed confidentiality agreements.
