Summary of Specifications:
Oakland County Purchasing Unit is requesting proposals on behalf of 52/1 District Court located at 48150 Grand River, Novi, MI 48374 for a professional services contract (PSC) for the period of September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014 with the option to renew for two additional years for the services listed below.
1. Schedule participants for a 4 week (6 contact hours) adult (ages 21 and over) substance abuse education program, an 8 week (12 contact hours) life skills program, a 4 week (6 contact hours) youth substance abuse education program (under the age of 21), a 4 week(6 contact hours) retail fraud program, a 3 week pre-treatment education program (4.5 contact hours) as a result of sentencing; maintain a record keeping system to track all such participants; provide reports to the 52/1 District Court concerning participants' attendance or status.
2. Implement and sustain policies, procedures, and documentation required for a substance abuse program license.
3. Facilitate all class sessions at the court address.
4. Session content may be presented in the order or sequence determined by the contractor, delivered to the group in the way determined by the contractor, with time allocated to specific concepts determined by the contractor.
