Summary of Specifications:
Oakland County Purchasing Division is requesting SEALED bids on behalf of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Animal Control, Parks & Recreation and Facilities Maintenance departments for a blanket contract for uniforms and accessories as listed below. Items will be ordered on an “as needed” basis and will be delivered to departments listed on the purchase orders. No annual quantities are expressed or implied.
All prices are for the individual item and NOT to include the price of any patches, emblems, nametapes, embroidery, or other insignia, which will be charged separately according to the contracted price. The purchase of a new garment and the insignia may not incur fees to sew them on, however, the removal of old insignia and the replacement with customer owned insignia can be charged as a basic addition/removal fee.
Any contracted item ordered is to be provided within 15 business days.
BID/PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bidders are to affix the label in Attachment “A” to the outside of the proposal package.
• Bidders are to return all pages and attachments signed, unaltered and intact.
• Oakland County shipping terms are FOB Destination. Shipping cost must be included in bid.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
In addition to the bid price, additional factors may be considered as an integral part of the bid evaluation process including, but not limited to:
A. Bidder’s ability, capacity, and skill to perform within a reasonable timeframe. B. Bidder’s experience, reputation, efficiency, judgment, and integrity. C. Quality, availability and adaptability of the supplies and materials proposed. D. Bidder’s past performance. E. Sufficiency of bidder’s financial resources to fulfill the contract.
