Oakland County operates and maintains pressure sewer systems and grinder pumps for multiple communities in the County. These systems include approximately 1100 grinder pumps manufactured by Crane Pumps and Systems - Barnes (various model numbers) and 950 grinder pumps manufactured by Environment-One (various model numbers). As such, Oakland County Purchasing is requesting proposals for grinder pump materials and supplies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain the existing system and to provide sewage disposal service to new grinder pump customers requesting service.
