002146 - Crane Inspection and Repair

Summary of Specifications:
Inspection, maintenance and repair services for cranes, chain falls, jibs and hoists located at various locations throughout Oakland County.  Annual inspections and repairs will be completed on an as needed basis when requested by Oakland County Staff throughout the duration of the contract. Service may be requested for an individual piece of equipment, in batches or specified sequences.  Inspections shall be made in accordance with MIOSHA standard – 1116(05/05) and must include at a minimum, maintenance proper oil levels in gearboxes, lubricating the cranes, checking control panels, brake adjustment and minor repairs.  Any work beyond the specified inspections and minor repair will require a written quote to be presented and approved by authorized County staff prior to any work being done.
