001388 - Consumer Credit Reports

Summary of Specifications:
The Oakland County Purchasing Department in conjunction with other departments is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) soliciting qualified vendors who can provide a service assisting these departments with providing consumer credit information in the form of consumer credit reports. Departments require client information regarding credit status current and past, employment current and past, debt position including but not limited to credit cards, mortgages and loans. These reports will assist the departments in verifying the validity of the information provided by clients to determine the client’s assessment and/or how to proceed with collection efforts. Oakland County will establish a blanket contract with the successful vendor. Oakland County is required to abide by the fair Credit Reporting Act.
