Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals will be received by the DRAINAGE BOARD FOR THE CADDELL DRAIN, Oakland County, Michigan, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 for the construction of certain drains and structures, including the following summarized scope of work:
Removal of failing gabion baskets, Installation of grade-control structures and flood benches in the Caddell Drain. Channel realignment and new channel creation. Sediment bar excavation, removal of steel frames and 1 weir, creation of flood benches planted with native vegetation, In-stream rock riffles, rock cross vanes, wood vanes, wood habitat structures, plunge pools, stabilization of tile outlets, and placement of riprap bank armor. The project requires dredging and fill below the ordinary high water mark. Rip rap will be placed above and below the ordinary high water mark. The project requires the placement of a temporary culvert and required soil erosion control measures. The earth work and bank stabilization for the Caddell detention basin as well as all required site restoration.
