AD ATTACHED READS AS FOLLOWS: Sealed proposals will be received by the DRAINAGE BOARD FOR THE FRANKLIN SUB-WATERSHED TEN HILL AND WALLBROOK PROJECT EXTENSION,, Oakland County, Michigan, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 for the construction of ledger stonewall structures, Newbury Wier structures and a sediment trap, removal of trees and brush, installation of erosion protection measures, placement of floodplain plantings and relocation/restoration of the channel. Proposals will be received up to 1:00 p.m., local time, on the date set forth herein at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. PROPOSAL TO BE RECEIVED: June 15th, 2010 Bidders shall review and comply with the Information For Bidders, which are incorporated by reference, and carefully review all Contract Documents, as defined in the Information For Bidders. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered. Starting on June 2nd , 2010, the Drawings and Specifications under which the work will be done will be on file and may be examined at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner at Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan and Dodge Reports. Copies thereof may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00), (Check Only) for each set of Contract Documents and set of plans from the Office of Applied Science, Inc., 300 River Place, Suite 5400, Detroit, Michigan, 48207. Fee must be received before set may be obtained. If set is to be mailed, a valid Fedex or UPS number must be provided.. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 7th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907. All prospective Bidders are requested to attend this meeting. Failure to attend the meeting shall not relieve the Bidder from compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including without limitation the Equal Employment and Minority, Small, and Women’s Business Regulations. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required for each proposal. The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal and to waive irregularities in the proposals.
