28-25 - MC Grant Funded-Professional Communications and Public Relations Services

The project consists of supporting various Macomb County public relations information campaign initiatives where enhanced and targeted communications and public relations services are needed. This work may include development of strategic communications plans and public-facing informational materials surrounding significant areas of countywide interest.

For example, we are planning a public relations information campaign promoting safe firearm storage to prevent youth violence and suicide, funded by the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan under the Safe Storage Initiative Grant. We also are planning a public relations information campaign focused on how the public can assist our efforts to stop hate crimes, funded by the U.S. Department of Justice under the Hate Crimes Grant.

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a public relations firm capable of creating and executing a communications strategy that includes branding, media content development, and coordination of promotional activities, in partnership with the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and local stakeholders.
