ASBESTOS ABATEMENT at FREDERICK V. PANKOW CENTER
The Board of Education of L’Anse Creuse Public Schools is accepting firm, sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment and all other services to complete Asbestos Abatement at Frederick V. Pankow Center for L’Anse Creuse Public Schools.
A pre-bid walk through is scheduled for April 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Frederick V. Pankow Center, 24600 F. V. Pankow Boulevard, Clinton Township, Michigan 48036. Meet in the Main Office. Specifications and proposal forms can be obtained at this mandatory walkthrough and may be obtained after April 22, 2013, from Nova Environmental, Inc., 5340 Plymouth Rd., Suite 210, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 Tel. 734.930.0995. Your proposal marked “Asbestos Abatement at Frederick V. Pankow Center” will be accepted during regular business hours at 24076 F.V. PANKOW BLVD, CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN 48036, but must be HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED BY COURIER NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM MAY 6, 2013. BID PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED OR ACCEPTED. IF MAILING YOUR PROPOSAL VIA THE POST OFFICE, SEND TO THE SAME ADDRESS. Oral, telephone, fax, or electronic mail bids are invalid and will not receive consideration.
All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter at the L’Anse Creuse Administration Building Board Room.
No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the bids are opened. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid packet.
All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and attach this information to the bid proposal. The bid proposal will be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Board, or the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Superintendent. The District will not accept a bid proposal that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement.
Proposals must include a bid bond or certified check made payable to L’Anse Creuse Public Schools for not less than 5% of the contract and must be submitted on the bid proposal form furnished with the specifications. All proposals will remain firm for a period of 60 days and provide performance/labor and material bonds upon award.
The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, to award contract to other than the low bidder; to waive any irregularities and/or informalities; and in general to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the owner.
