Sealed bids will be received by Ira Township, at the office of the Township Clerk, 7085 Meldrum Road, Fair Haven, Michigan 48023, until 2:30 p.m., prevailing local time, Tuesday April 27, 2021, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted on contract document forms and contained in a sealed envelope addressed to Ira Township, clearly marked: “BID FOR FIRE & WATER DEPARTMENT PAVING PROJECT

Bidding documents may be obtained by direct request to the Engineer; Project Control Engineering, Inc., 2420 Pointe Tremble Rd (M-29), Algonac, MI 48001, (810) 794-1931, for a non-refundable fee of $45.00 per set plus $10.00 additional per set if mailed. Bidding documents may also be downloaded electronically at no cost by contacting Project Control Engineering, Inc. at 810-794-1931 to register as a plan holder and to receive download instructions.
Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or satisfactory bid bond for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to Ira Township, shall be submitted with each bid.
Ira Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any irregularities, and to make the award in any manner considered by the Township Board to be in its best interest.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the date and time of bid opening.
