Description

1.0  Scope of Work
The Work, as further described in the Contract Documents, includes, but is not limited to, the following major components:
 
a)      Removal and replacement of existing electric actuators for Drain Valves (DV’s) 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, including associated  equipment, conduit, wiring and accessories installed in Drain to NWI and Drain to Pump Station Valves Vault (DV’s 3, 4, 5 and 6) and otherwise installed  in Drain to NWI Meter Vault (DV-7)
 
b)      Removal and replacement of existing plug valves DV’s 5 & 6 installed in Drain to Pump Station Valves Vault and miscellaneous piping to facilitate valve replacement
 
 
 
c)      Abandonment and replacement of electric power and instrumentation & control (I&C) conduit, wiring, duct bank  and accessories from existing Motor Control Centers, OVATION control equipment, Power Manhole 201, I&C Manhole 202 and any other impacted equipment/structure landed inside said Vault and neighboring Drain to NWI Meter Vault and Sanitary Surge Relief Chamber as required to provide new fully functional, reliable remote automated and local manual controlled motorized basin Drain Valves 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 and other new/refurbished ancillary equipment within said vaults and surge chamber (sump pump, ball floats, light fixtures, GFCI receptacles, et al. components)
 
d)      Modifying the site drainage adjacent to the vault by connecting the downspout to the existing onsite storm water runoff drainage system, and re-grading the gravel access drive to promote better drainage, and provide equipment & training manuals, startup testing and training for new Work.
