RFP-GC-GLWA-DBW-070 - Design-Build Services for Lapeer County Chlorine Booster Stations

Summary of Specifications:
The primary goal of the project is to provide GLWA with the ability to add chlorine to the 72-inch transmission main that runs along Bowers Road in Lapeer County. This will be accomplished through: (1) construction of a booster facility in Goodland Township to apply chlorine to the 72-inch main and to the downstream side of the Imlay City master meter (IC01); (2) construction of a booster facility in Mayfield Township; and (3) construction of a total residual chlorine monitoring station downstream of the furthest downstream master meter serving the City of Lapeer (LA03). The chlorine shall be stored at the booster stations and applied in the form of sodium hypochlorite solution.
