Proposals are being solicited for consulting services to the Emmet County Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control program. The consultant(s) shall function as an extension of Emmet County Planning and Zoning (P/Z) staff by providing qualified technical and professional personnel to perform duties and responsibilities assigned under the terms of the agreement. Emmet County seeks these professional SESC services to review plans, review sites, prepare inspection reports, make recommendations to contractors and/or property owners regarding site conditions, and other specific Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control activities as may be requested.
The major component of the professional services involves providing assistance to P/Z staff on a work assignment basis in a variety of technical, graphical, and review activities, such as site evaluations and follow-up.
