RECEIPT OF BIDS
The Charter Township of East China will receive sealed bids until 2:00 pm, local time on
Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the offices of the Director of Public Services, East China
Township, 5111 River Road, East China Township, Michigan 48054, at which time and
place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
BID SECURITY
Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township Clerk or the Township
Engineers in a sealed envelope marked:
BID FOR 2025 SEWER GROUTING
A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a
surety company, payable to East China Township, in an amount at least equal to five
percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid.
BONDS AND INSURANCE
The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond,
Payment Bond, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds in the amount of 100% of the
Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder.
WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of bids.
