The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) is issuing this request for proposal for written proposals from qualified firms or project teams to provide labor, designated materials, tools, equipment, apparatus, security measures, and transportation to complete condition assessments for hydrant flow testing, C-factor testing, leak detection testing, and valve exercising of existing potable water mains. The primary service areas are in neighborhoods of Tri-Point, Schulze, New Center, and West Woodbridge. Also included will be additional individual service areas located in various neighborhoods and locations throughout the City of Detroit, Michigan. The project will include evaluating and reporting the condition of certain identified water main (approximately 529,165 lineal feet), valves and hydrants within the City of Detroit.
