The City of Detroit, Department of Water and Sewage Department (DWSD) hereby invites businesses to submit bids to furnish GPS locating services to find exposed and buried, inaccessible lamp holes/manholes, catch basins, and water valvesas in the neighborhoods listed in scope. Contractor is responsible for identifying the x, y, and z coordinates of identified assets using survey grade GPS receivers. The center position of the structure will be recorded to an accuracy within +/- 1 inch vertical and horizontal. Contractor to provide data in deliverable format per bid documents to facilitate capital improvement program. Work to be performed in 24 neighborhoods. Contractor will also need to perform required assets management entries, geospatial corrections and
take instantaneous sewer flow measurements at identified locations within the City of Detroit.
