37-25-049 - Nankin Mills Campus Improvements

The County of Wayne is requesting bids for improvements to the Nankin Mills Campus. These include both architectural and overall site-wide improvements. These include interior and exterior restoration of multiple buildings including new mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and new furniture.  Exterior work includes roofing, wood siding restoration, painting, new windows & doors, masonry tuck-pointing, and additions. Exterior work also includes one new building.  Interior renovations include improvements to meeting space, toilet rooms, exhibits, work space, and public gathering areas.  Site work includes underground utilities, site grading and drainage, bioswale basins and rain gardens, parking lots, sidewalks, specialty paving, custom pergolas, amphitheater spaces with terraced concrete seating, open plaza areas, water’s edge reinforcement, curvilinear concrete retaining walls, stone masonry piers and wall, custom hand and guardrails, specialty sunken display gardens, landscaping, signage, site furniture, and lighting improvements.
Funding is coming from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the WC Parks millage
