Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFI is to gather information regarding the current system of care for SUD services and determine the extent to which the PIHP will need to adjust or modify core provider delegated functions and specialty service provider functions/services within the regional Recovery Oriented System of Care. The CMHPSM must periodically assess the capacity of all providers to perform the functions necessary to ensure regulatory compliance, access to care, utilization management, technical skills and service availability. In the event providers do not have adequate resources, connections or capabilities, a development phase to prepare the provider network in acquisition of technological skills, capabilities and infrastructure will be necessary. Therefore, the respondents of this RFI may need to explore partnerships within their respective county or across the region in order to offer more creative and efficient ways to meet the service needs of individuals. Participation in this RFI will be a pre-requirement for an agency to participate in any future Request for Proposal’s related to SUD treatment service under the CMHPSM.
