Description

The City of Sturgis will receive sealed bids to provide all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary for the preparation, priming, and painting of two (2) Hevi-Duty Transformers. The transformers are located at the City of Sturgis Electric Department, 805 N. Centerville Street, Sturgis, Mi, 49091. The work must be completed by September 15, 2025. This excludes major holidays and weekends. Bidders shall include resumes of the field technicians and a list of references with their proposals.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Bids must be submitted on a not-to-exceed price basis using the attached Bid Form. All sales, consumer, use and other similar taxes required by law to be paid by the Bidder shall be included in the bid price. Bids must be submitted by 4:00pm, Monday, July 21, 2025 to the City Manager’s Office, 130 N. Nottawa Street, Sturgis, MI, 49091. Bids received after this date and time will be rejected. Bids must be valid for 45 days after bid opening. The City of Sturgis will issue a purchase order to the successful Bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance meeting the requirements stated herein.
