The City of Sturgis is requesting bids for the furnishing and delivery (F.O.B. Sturgis, Michigan) of a complete cable trench system meeting the criteria of Section 16136 – Cable Trench and designed for installation as shown on the attached drawings. The cable trench system must be complete and include all trench sections, appropriately rated lids, grounding and bonding provisions, mating hardware, and throated connection into Owner provided control house cable tray. Installation of cable trench system will be completed by Others.

Bids must be submitted to the City of Sturgis, 130 N Nottawa St., Sturgis, Michigan 49091 no later than 4:00pm, Monday, September 15, 2025. All bids must be labeled with “State Line Substation Cable Trench Bid” on the outside of the proposal. Electronic copies will be accepted through the BidNet website.

Bids must include unit cost, extended cost, and delivery schedule. City of Sturgis is exempt from Michigan state sales taxes and will provide appropriate exemption certificate upon acceptance of the bid. Following acceptance by City of Sturgis a Purchase Order will be issued to the successful vendor.
