The City currently has staff that manages and performs various electrical services and is interested in obtaining additional support to ensure prompt and efficient responses for all operational needs. Service requests will cover different projects of various scope, none of which are known at this time, and the nature of work may vary from one project to another. By signed submittal of this document, it is understood that this Agreement is not exclusive, and that nothing herein shall be deemed to prevent the City from engaging other Contractors or utilizing its own employees to perform like or similar services to any extent deemed desirable by the City.

The City anticipates the majority of this work will be scheduled and non-emergency service requests during normal business hours.
Examples of the electrical services needed for street lighting work would include, but not be limited to: general electrical line work, working in and around traffic right-of-way’s and in streets, installing underground conduits and duct bank systems, installing manholes and hand holes, installing light pole bases, setting light poles, pulling inner-duct, pulling fiber optic cable, pulling wire, repairing or replacing street lighting fixtures, installing overhead conductors and troubleshooting street lighting primary and secondary circuits.
