Summary of Specifications:
INVITATION TO BID ON THE SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY, FORMERLY USED AS GUEST LIBRARY, AT 14060 STEPHENS RD., WARREN, MI 48089-2211. THE LIBRARY WAS BUILT IN 1970/1971 WITH A FLOOR AREA 4,731 SQUARE FEET. PARCELS 13-25-326-004, 13-25-326-005, 13-25-326-006, 13-25-326-031 ARE CURRENTLY ZONED R1C, RESIDENTIAL. THE CITY INTENDS TO ZONE THE PROPERTY TO “O” OFFICE. 

A $20,000.00 bid surety (Cashier’s or Certified Check payable to the City of Warren) shall be submitted with all bids as security that if awarded the sale of property the successful bidder shall enter into a binding agreement with the City and shall consummate the sales transaction no more than ninety days after acceptance of said bid. Deposits received from all bidders with the exception of the three highest bidders shall be returned within five days of the bid opening. Award of bid will be formally granted by the Warren City Council based upon the recommendation of the Purchasing Department.
