RFP-W-8067 - Property Tax Appeal Attorney Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Warren is seeking proposals from attorneys and law firms licensed to provide legal services in the State of Michigan to provide attorney services in responding to property tax appeals regarding commercial, industrial and personal property, including specifically matters before the Michigan Tax Tribunal. The firm will assist the City Assessing Department and the City Attorney in the handling and responding to such appeals, including preparation of pleadings, retention and use of expert witnesses including professional appraisers, discovery, hearings before the Michigan Tax Tribunal and appeals from the Michigan Tax Tribunal. The attorney or law firm selected will work with the City Assessing Department and the City Attorney’s Office who will do preparation and workup where possible, as determined by the City of Warren
