ITB-7844 - Hayes Road Watermain Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
The project involves retiring of two sections of existing watermain located along the west side of Hayes Road, bewtween Fourteen Mile Road and Masonic, and installation of approximately 860 lf of new 12" dia. DI CL 54 watermain. It also includes resroration of affected concrete pavement, drive approaches and greenbelt area. The construction of the project must begin on or before June 1, 2009 and must be completed within 30 calendar days thereafter, and in no event later that July 1, 2009. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 will be assessed for each calendar day that the work remains incomplete, beyond the alloted 30 calendar days.
