Summary of Specifications:
It is the City’s intention to receive bids for providing ELKHART AND AKRON PARTS AND FACTORY AUTHORIZED repair services for Fire Department vehicles and equipment in the City’s service in order to expedite repairing and returning equipment to service while still complying with ordinances requiring competitive bidding and City Council approval of major purchases. Awards of bid will be made to a contractor based on proposals received which best serve the interests of the City. Vendor’s stock on hand may be a consideration in awarding contract. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards.
