ITB-W-8013 - Confined Space Rescue Services

Summary of Specifications:
Vendor shall prepare rescue pre-plans for (101) permit required confined spaces. A rescue pre-plan shall be completed prior to and at least (7) days before a PRCS entry is made to allow the rescue service and WWTP time to plan and procure the necessary equipment to do so. All rescue pre-plans must be completed within (120) days from the time a purchase order is issued. The surveys will be conducted during normal working hours. A copy of all surveys must be submitted to the WWTP upon completion. Vendor shall provide a mock rescue demonstration of their ability to perform a rescue in a representative or actual PRCS location one time per year as described in OSHA 1910.146, MIOSHA part 90 & 490 appendix F. The first year demonstration shall be performed prior to a contract being awarded. In subsequent years the demonstration will be coordinated with a pre-planned and scheduled confined space entry. Vendor shall provide a standard , overtime, & premium rates per hour for a two, three, four and five man rescue team. A standard rate will be charged for work completed during normal working hours which is considered to be between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
