Summary of Specifications:
The proposals will be to furnish and install Handicap Ramps at the Caswell House and Poppleton School. Specifications are listed in the bid proposal form on file in the office of the City Clerk.
All items shall be F.O.B. delivered, freight paid to the Troy Museum and Historic Village, 60 W. Wattles, Troy, MI 48098. Ms. Loraine Campbell, Museum Manager, must be called at (248) 524-3570 prior to delivery of any material to the worksites. Equipment and materials are not to be delivered to the Museum sites until the installation work is to commence.
A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The two lowest unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
The bid surety will be returned to the successful bidder upon submission of the specified acceptable Performance, Labor and Material Payment, and One-Year Maintenance Bonds in accordance with specifications. All other bidders will have their bid deposits returned within 72 hours after the bid has been opened.
All work is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible but it is preferred that the work be completed by the target date of September 25, 2004.
