Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals to FURNISH AND INSTALL ELECTRICAL UPGRADES AT THE TROY MUSEUM & HISTORIC VILLAGE will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The two lowest unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The bid surety will be returned to the successful bidder upon successful completion of all contract requirements in accordance with the specifications to the satisfaction of the designated City representative at the conclusion of the project. All other bidders will have their bid deposits returned within 72 hours after the bid has been opened. All work is targeted for completion as soon as possible but no later than MAY 14, 2004. Explanations desired by Bidders shall be requested of the designated City representative in writing, and if explanations are necessary, a reply will be made in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be posted on the MITN website for all bidders to access. Every request for such explanation shall be in writing, addressed to the Troy Museum & Historic Village, ATTN: Loraine Campbell, Museum Manager, 60 W. Wattles, Troy, MI 48098 within seven (7) working days of the bid opening date.
