Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-12 MIDDLEBELT WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT - SMITH TO ECORSE (1) Sealed Bids for Middlebelt Road Water Main improvements will be received at the City Romulus Clerk's Office, 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, Michigan 48174 until 2:00 pm local time, on November 1, 2012, at which time bids will be opened and read. (2) The Contract Documents for this project are on file at the office of the City's ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150 and the Office of the City Clerk. A non-refundable fee of $65.00 will be charged for each set of Contract Documents and an additional $15.00 will charged if mailed. (3) Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. (4) The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities. (5) No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
