RFP-RH-08-041 - Upgrade of the City's Scada System

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of these specifications to obtain software and hardware products and the services of a qualified consultant to upgrade the City’s current Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System to ensure the continued reliability to monitor and operate the daily functions of the water distribution system and wastewater collection system. With the existing system the City is able to monitor the water and wastewater systems to maintain system pressure, intrusion alarms at remote sites, pump failures, pumping and receiving flows and run daily reports. The City recently constructed a new Department of Public Services (DPS) Facility. The main SCADA system is currently located in the old building on the same property. The system is temporarily patched with a radio link between the two buildings. It is the City’s intent to maintain the SCADA system in the new DPS Facility with the consultant facilitating the transition.
