Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills seeks the services of a Trash Removal Contractor for several locations owned by the City. This would be a one-year blanket purchase order, with an option for the City to renew for two additional one-year periods. Trash pick-up will vary per location as outlined on the bid form. Trash pick-up at the park locations will be on an on-call basis, except for the summer season when a pick-up schedule will be arranged between the City and the Contractor. This specification covers refuse and trash collection and disposal services. The work required includes the furnishing of all labor, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide the required level of services.
Sealed bids for Trash Removal Services at Various City Owned Sites will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the office of the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309, until 3:00 p.m., Local time, November 20, 2007, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No late bids will be accepted. No faxed bids will be accepted. Bids shall be in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance and the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive.”
