Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations from qualified and experienced firms to provide all materials, labor, necessary insurance, equipment, expertise, trades and obtain necessary permits to provide and install a building canopy at the City of Rochester Hills Spencer Park Beach House - Concession area, 3701 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307. Contractor is responsible for all measurements when preparing his/her quotation. The City is requesting quotations for an exterior canopy to be installed in order to provide shade for persons working inside at the concession window and for individuals outside when purchasing concession items. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine quantities of any special materials required and incorporate any such items in his/her cost. Contractor shall take into account the sensitive location and conduct the work in such a manner as to ensure the least obstruction to park visitors and staff. Care must be taken to keep ingress and egress unobstructed for emergency response vehicles. Contractor must not block driveways and parking areas. A Mandatory Walk-Through will be held on July 8, 2009 @ 9:30 a.m. at the Spencer Park Beach House Concession area, 3701 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 to become familiar with the premises specified, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. ATTENDANCE AT THE WALK-THROUGH IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A QUOTE. Contractors not in attendance at the Walk-Through will NOT be eligible to quote on this project.
