Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a Snowplow Route Optimization Software System for the City of Rochester Hills’ Department of Public Services. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or through the MITN website until 3:00 P.M. EST, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2014, at which time the names of submitting proposers will be read. All correspondence or inquires from interested firms regarding this proposal shall be directed to the attention of Debbie Scully, CPPB, Senior Purchasing Analyst, City of Rochester Hills, Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, scullyd@rochesterhills.org. All inquires shall be made in writing by THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. EST, in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the proposals are opened, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Inquiries received after the date and time above will not be considered. The program shall incorporate into the City’s existing Geographic Information System (GIS). City public works and computer technical staff will work with the consultant to enter or link the appropriate road network data to the City’s GIS.
