Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is interested in obtaining proposals for the furnishing material and equipment and repair and installation services for the sanitary sewer at Springhill Plaza, as well as provide other related products and services, as required for the project. The successful proposer shall provide all design, materials, equipment, and labor necessary and place in working operation the existing sewer located at Springhill Plaza. All work shall be performed in a professional, cost efficient and timely manner. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for the entire project including, but not limited to, design, coordination of all work and the outcome of the project. It is the City’s objective to effectively line the sewer at Springhill Plaza with a reliable product. Time is of the essence to prevent damage to on-site structures. Approximately 245 feet of 8” clay pipe needs to be lined, including the lining of existing sanitary sewer leads. Each lead shall be lined a minimum of 6 feet from the main. The depth of the sewer at manhole 17-1-667 is approximately 9.4 feet and the depth of the sewer at manhole 17-1-666 is approximately 18.72 feet. Contractor shall determine the best method to line both the 8” sanitary sewer and the 6” sanitary service leads.
