INTRODUCTION AND INSTRUCTIONS
The City of Rochester Hills is seeking qualification submittals from qualified playground vendors with experience in the comprehensive design, supply, and installation of nature-inspired play area for Nowicki Park. This 33-acre park is currently undergoing initial development, with the goal of commencing construction in Spring 2026 and opening the newly constructed park in Spring 2027. Approximately one acre has been allocated for the play area.
This project requires collective experience from a vendor that includes expertise in similar park playground design and installation; experience with design-build projects, partnering with the City’s Architectural/Engineering team, and the ability to demonstrate a successful track record of meeting project budgets and timelines.
The purpose of this Request for Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is to identify the most qualified vendor who can demonstrate a strong ability to design, create, provide, and install innovative and engaging nature-inspired playground equipment in accordance with the City’s vision and preliminary conceptual arrangement for the Nowicki Park playground. The selected firm will be required to work with the City’s Architectural/Engineering Team to coordinate and collaborate on the required site conditions for the successful installation of the playground equipment.
