The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for the rental of Changeable Message Board signs for the period of October 15, 2014 through November 15, 2014. Specifications/Scope of Work: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations from vendors for the rental of Changeable Message Boards to be displayed around designated locations within the City of Rochester Hills. The message boards are being used to alert drivers in high population deer areas to be aware that there may be deer in the area and to use caution when driving. The City's intent is to rent four (4) signs from October 15, 2014 through November 15, 2014. The vendor will be required to setup the signs at locations designated by the City. After two (2) weeks the signs will need to be relocated to four (4) different locations that will be designed by the City. The vendor is requested to provide per unit pricing along with any applicable mobilization costs that will be charged to move/setup each unit. Minimum Specifications of Signs - Signs shall be trailer mounted mobile sign type - Signs shall be self-contained and be capable of programming message defined by the City (e.g., "Don't veer for deer") - Signs shall be visible from up to 100' away - Signs shall have a battery power source with solar charger - Display sides: One (1) Display Type: Lighted.
