Summary of Specifications:
The Radar Speed Displays Project is a turnkey project with four (4) major components. Funds for this project were awarded under the Department of Justice – COPS Grant. Therefore, compliance with all requirements of the COPS Grant shall be the responsibility of the awarded vendor. The vendor(s) shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, design of locations, engineering, installation, supplies, delivery, transportation, storage, staging, clean-up, disposal, recycling, reporting and any other items necessary to complete the project. Vendor shall also provide adequate supervision, quality-controls and coordination to minimize the impact and labor requirements of Grant. Project Components: 1. Sign Vendor 2. Traffic consultant/engineer 3. Installation Contractor 4. DTE Energy (Energy only) Proposals shall be submitted by a qualified firm (prime vendor) representing at least one of the four (4) major components of the project. Vendors for the remaining major components shall be subcontractors to the prime vendor. The project shall be coordinated by a project manager provided by the prime vendor. Proposals shall clearly identify the prime vendor and associated roles and functions, as well as all subcontractors with associated roles and functions. It shall be the responsibility of the prime vendor to define and include all products/services for the successful completion of this project.
