Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide all labor, materials, required insurance, equipment, expertise, trades, permits and the means of work to perform On Call Roofing Services on an as needed basis at various City buildings for a period of one (1) year; the City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for two additional 1-year periods. Services to include roof replacement, maintenance and repair. The roofs will be of various types, including but not limited to: built-up, membrane, asphalt and wood. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time on June 8, 2010, at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud. Late submittals will not be accepted. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Proposal. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their Proposal from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response. City may enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet City demands. The City will determine when and to what extent the Contractor’s services will be used. No specific quantity of hours or jobs is guaranteed (only on an as needed basis).
