Dated September 8, 2015: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from professional, experienced and qualified firms to provide Occupational Medicine Services. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or through the MITN website until EXACTLY 3:00 P.M. Local Time, Thursday, October 1, 2015, at which time the names of submitting proposers will be publicly read.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select City Services, Purchasing and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.

Background The City of Rochester Hills is a residential community with a population of close to 73,000, comprising approximately 32.2 square miles and located east of the I-75 corridor in the eastern portion of Oakland County, Michigan. The City is bordered to the south by the City of Troy; to the east by Shelby Township in Macomb County; to the north by Oakland Township; and, to the west by the City of Auburn Hills. Rochester Hills surrounds the City of Rochester on its northern, western, and southern boundaries.
The City of Rochester Hills is organized as a strong Mayor form of government with legislative power vested in a City Council. The City is a full service municipality, exclusive of police and trash collection. The City currently has 197 budgeted positions in 11 departments and operates a combination full-time and paid-on-call Fire Department. The City currently has four bargaining units, including a general employee AFSCME unit, a supervisory AFSCME unit, a full time IAFF Fire Fighter unit and a Paid-on-Call Fire Fighter unit, represented by MAFF.
The majority of employees are located at the Rochester Hills City Offices, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan. Others are located at sites throughout the City, including but not limited to, Department of Public Service Building; Public Safety Building (main Fire Station) and four satellite fire stations; Van Hoosen Museum and various park locations.

Scope of Work It is the intent of the City of Rochester Hills to establish a contract with a qualified Health Care Provider, to provide various occupational medicine services to the City of Rochester Hills personnel. The selected Health Care Provider will coordinate all services with the City’s Human Resource Department and Fire Department.
