The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a one-year blanket purchase order for Miscellaneous Piping and Plumbing Supplies. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please fill in the following information and fax or mail back by: August 29, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. All questions and/or quotations should be directed to the attention of: Lisa Cummins, Purchasing Analyst, City of Rochester Hills, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, Phone: 248/841/2537, Fax: 248/608-8178. Only those persons designated above are authorized to seek additional information from prospective vendors regarding their bid proposals. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to vendors regarding their bid proposals from all other persons are to be directed to those City employees designated above for appropriate review and response. All inquiries shall be made on or before August 21, 2008 at 12:00 noon (local time), in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the bids are opened. Inquires received after that date will not be considered. Purpose The purpose and intent of this request for quotation is to establish a firm fixed price contract with a qualified Contractor to provide a ready “as required” source for piping and plumbing supplies for the City’s Department of Public Service operations. Scope of Work The total expenditure on miscellaneous piping and plumbing supplies for a fiscal year is approximately $1,500.00. (This estimate is for bidder information purposes only and does not convey what may be experienced as a result of the new contract). Vendor must be able to provide immediate supply of parts for emergency repairs, on an as needed basis. To facilitate emergency needs it is requested that the selected vendor be located within a twenty (20) mile radius from the Department of Public Service Maintenance Facility located at 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
