RFP-RH-10-015 - Lawn Maintenance and Weed Mowing Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals for lawn maintenance and weed mowing services for compliance with the City’s Weed Control Ordinance. Lawn maintenance and weed mowing shall be provided on properties in violation of the Weed Control Ordinance. See Attachment A. Weed Cutting for Ordinance Compliance (Building Department) Proposals shall include a minimum cutting depth of 100 feet from existing roadways. This includes corner lots where applicable. Any lot cut over an acre (43,560 square feet) shall be billed at an acreage rate. All proposals shall include a per lineal foot cut of 100 feet in depth. Subdivision lots that are less than 435.6 feet wide at the road front shall be cut at least 100 feet in depth and billed by the lineal footage of road frontage as follows: 0 to 100 feet in depth Over 100 feet – 200 feet in depth Over 200 feet – 300 feet in depth Over 300 feet – 400 feet in depth Acreage rate at per acre and part thereof per square foot Improved streets abutting subdivision, schools, parks or occupied residential property shall be mowed 100 feet in depth and billed at a rate of lineal footage up to 435.6 feet of road frontage and the balance billed at acreage rate.
