Sealed proposals to provide for the purchase, removal and installation of a Rooftop Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit at the City’s Dairy Barn and the purchase, removal and installation of a HVAC Unit for the Server Room at City Hall will be received by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, (Lower Level) Rochester Hills, MI 48309, or submitted online through the MITN website, until 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Thursday, November 8, 2018, at which time and place said names of proposers will be publically read aloud.
A Voluntary Pre-Proposal Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at City Hall located at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309. The walk-through will begin at the Purchasing Division (lower level) before proceeding over to the Dairy Barn located at the Van Hoosen Museum located at 950 Romeo Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48306.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info. Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid/proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select City Services, Purchasing, Bid Opportunities and link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Please note if you are submitting proposal through the MITN website, the City of Rochester Hills is capable of accepting documents in .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .tif or rtf formats. Due to security risks associated with some file formats, the following file types are not able to be opened by the City: DOC, DOCM, DOT, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, XLT, PPT, PPTM, RTF. All of these formats can contain malicious code. The City is also not able to open ZIP files at this time. Alternatively you could convert these files to PDF.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal. Failure to complete every space on the specification form may disqualify bid.
