The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for the one-time purchase of a professional Handheld Core Drilling Machine for use in the Department of Public Service Roads Division. Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Hills Department of Public Service, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Scope of Work The City of Rochester Hills Fleet Services Division requests quotations for the one-time purchase of One (1) professional Handheld Core Drilling Machine for use in the Department of Public Service Roads Division. These specifications cover the furnishing and delivery of the handheld core drilling machine specified. The drilling machine shall be delivered with all specified components installed new and fully functional. Components and materials furnished shall be new and at least of standard quality currently used commercially, conforming to current engineering and manufacturing practices. Materials shall be free from defects that adversely affect the function or appearance of the finished unit. The components furnished under this specification shall be the manufacturer's latest current design. At time of delivery, equipment shall conform to all applicable O.S.H.A. regulations. Unless otherwise stated by bidder, the bids will be considered in being in strict accordance with the City’s applicable standard specifications, and any special specifications as outlined in the bid document. Reference to particular trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers are made for descriptive purposes to guide the bidder in interpreting the requirements of the City, and should not be construed as excluding bids on other trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers unless otherwise stated. However, the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish the particular item referred to in the specifications or description unless departure or substitution is clearly noted and described in the bid.
