RFP-RH-09-028 - HVAC Renovations for Fire Station #1

Summary of Specifications:
This project will consist of renovation of the current HVAC system, including electrical and roofing services as required, permitting and construction. The entire process must provide for complete construction services on a “turn-key” basis. Site Description: The City of Rochester Hills is the owner of Fire Station #1 located at 1111 Horizon Court, Rochester Hills, Michigan (west of Livernois Road, south of Avon Road). Purpose of Building: The building’s purpose is for Fire Department Administration, 24-hour fire and emergency services and 24-hour dispatch. Project Description: The Project is to discontinue the use of the existing 15-ton chiller, air handler and hot water boiler and create seven (7) YORK single zone forced air constant volume heating and cooling zones. Construction work shall be phased to provide minimal disruption to the department operations. Construction documents, computations, and specifications to be prepared and designed by a registered design professional in accordance with 1980 PA 299.
