Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide floor coating systems at two (2) City facilities. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Office, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 until 3:00 p.m. local time, on October 18, 2011, at which time and place the names of proposers will be publicly read aloud. Late submittals will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Please visit the City of Rochester Hills’ website at www.rochesterhills.org for Construction Updates/Alerts and allow adequate time when delivering items to the City. A Mandatory Walk-Through will be held on October 6, 2011 @ 1:30 p.m. beginning at Spencer Park, 3701 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 for contractors to become familiar with the premises specified; the condition of the floors and adjoining areas to be coated; to obtain measurements, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. The deadline for questions will be at the conclusion of the Mandatory Walk-Through. ATTENDANCE AT THE WALK-THROUGH IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. Contractors not in attendance at the Walk-Through will NOT be eligible to submit a proposal on this project. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items in their cost proposal. Direct all questions to Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski; Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff. Unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal.
