Dated: Friday, July 29, 2016, The City of Rochester Hills is accepting sealed proposals from qualified companies for the one time purchase of Various Fitness Equipment to be used by the City of Rochester Hills Fire Department. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, until EXACTLY 3:00 P.M. EST, THURSDAY, AUGUST 18, 2016, at which time and place Proposers names will be publicly read aloud. A Voluntary Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. EST beginning at the City of Rochester Hills Fire Station #1, 1111 Horizon Court, Rochester Hills, Michigan continuing on to the other stations as necessary, for interested proposers to become familiar with the size of the exercise rooms and provide a forum for questions/answers regarding the project. This will be the only opportunity for contractors to measure and visit the rooms. Attendance at the Walk-Through is not mandatory in order to submit a proposal. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, click on City Government, Departments, Purchasing, Bid Opportunities and link to MITN website. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in reject of proposal submittal.
