Dated October 23, 2013: The City of Rochester Hills, on behalf of themselves and the City of Dearborn, is accepting quotations from qualified companies to establish a contract for Fire Extinguisher Testing, Servicing, Recharging & Replacement for various types of fire extinguishers within the City owned buildings, City Parks, City fleet vehicles and City Fire Department vehicles for a period of one (1) year, with up to two (2) additional one-year renewal options to be exercised at the Cities sole discretion. The purpose of this document is to ultimately enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet the City of Rochester Hills and the City of Dearborn demands. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please fill in the following information and mail, fax or submit online through the MITN website, no later than the due date of Wednesday, November 6, 2013 @ 5:00 p.m.; please provide a response for all items. All questions must be in writing and made prior to Wednesday, October 30, 2013 @ 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the quotation, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City’s Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. It shall be the vendor’s responsibility to make inquiry as to changes or addenda issued. All such changes or addenda shall become a part of the contract and all vendors shall be bound by such changes or addenda. Addendums will be posted on the MITN system.
